~ Mark Mungeam, of Cornish, Sylva, and Mungeam is the architect of Olde Barnstable and designed the course with large undulating greens, deceptive approaches, and large chipping area’s. The golf course is a par 71, measuring 6479 yards from the back tees. The golf course has gained a reputation as a true test of championship caliber hosting such events as the Massachusetts Mid Amateur, Massachusetts Amateur, USGA Mid Amateur, US Amateur, and the US Open Qualifiers. ~
